The Pushee's

Vernon and I have been married for 10 years, and have three adorable children.  Kendall is now 8, going on 8teen.  :S  She is a "girly, girl" who loves fashion and "girly" things, but also loves to venture into the barn to see the "bun buns".  Connor is 7 and enjoying all the things that 7 year olds get to do: grade 2, going on the school bus, swimming lessons & spending the night at Gramma's even on school nights!  He is a "Daddy's Boy" as daddy does all the fun stuff with cattle, tractors and the quad/ski-doo.  Caden (5) is our baby and fits the role perfectly, as he allows mommy to kiss and cuddle him tons.  He finally gets to do all the things those darn 5 year olds get to do!  LOL!  He knows how to use his age and "status" to his full advantage, as he has a way of getting his older sibling Connor into trouble whenever he requires.  All three kids played their first year of hockey this past winter and they all love it :) Nothing like dodging two wild, little boys playing hockey every waking minute... in the living room! Kendall told me it's a lot more fun playing hockey than watching hockey, but I'm not sure I entirely agree, as they are pretty cute to watch at this age. (Proud mama ;) Connor is the all time top scorer for the pre-novice team raking in over 20 goals easy this season (December to March) and Kendall raked in a good handful herself. Caden, well, since he started the season basically skating with a chair, I'd say he improved a ton as now it's hard to pick him out of all the rest! He almost scored a goal, so I guess all that "house" hockey is paying off!

We live on a very, large farm approx. 10 miles East of Mayfair, Saskatchewan.  (That's and hour and a half NW of Saskatoon, an hour and a half from Prince Albert, an hour NE of North Battleford and about 45 minutes away from Spiritwood) Since we live a little ways from any actual town, we have a lot of room for a lot of cattle, farm land and the rest of our "unhuman" ;) family.  The rabbits are housed in a large unheated barn with an attached, heated nursery for kindling does when the weather is cold.  We have several cages outdoors also, so when it is warm and sunny out the Frenchies get turns enjoying the nice weather outside of the barn.  We have cages that are large enough for the three kids to get in and be with the "bun buns" so our bunnies are BOMB PROOF by the time the kids are done with them!  The rabbits are watered and fed twice daily, and visited more often then that.  ;)  I enjoy my camera (as the kid's many, many albums are proof of that) so I love to take pictures of the rabbits.  I swear those poor rabbits groan when they see the camera coming, just as the kids do!  LOL!  As you can probably tell, we take great pride in our rabbits, and find it is truly a wonderful hobby.  We meet many new people through sales and shows and enjoy meeting everyone.  Thank you to all of you that have purchased a Lots A Lops/Cutie Patootie rabbit, and hope you are happy with your bunny.  We are always here to help with any bunny questions you may have, and hope to be able to answer them as best we can.  :)  We are constantly trying to improve our lines and feel we have been doing a great job doing just that, not forgetting those wonderful breeders that have sold us their nice rabbits to help us improve our own.  Also, we are taking on "creating" new Frenchie colors, which will be a bit of a challenge, but definitely one we are willing to take on.  I feel all of the hard work will be rewarded in the end.  :)

I am currently a full time mom ;) and am an SCA at the Hafford Special Care Center. I work shift work, so if I don't respond to an email too quickly, it might be that I'm trying to catch up on some sleep! LOL! My husband operates a large combined farm with approx. five thousand seeded acres and a few hundred cows. Needless to say, we are busy but happy!
