What can I say about this amazing
breed?!? They were my first, and probably still my favorite... a huge,
huggable body, amazingly sweet disposition, and fun, lovable nature are
just a few things a French Lop is! I say, "You haven't held a "rabbit"
'til you've held a Frenchie!" How much more rabbit can you get than
that?!? They are inquisitive (especially those buns!), and LOVE
attention. My Frenchies will hop up to me and lay still waiting for a
scratch! They are a big breed that are an average of about 12 lbs, and
their personalities are as big as their size. I give these guys daily
exercise in floor pens and outdoor runs... weather permitting of
course. Many people buy French Lops for pets for their children. Along
with their sweet disposition, they are too big for kids to pick up, so
children will avoid getting scratched by a scared bunny and the bunny
will not experience an "inexperienced" handler or any falls! A win win
situation for any inexperienced rabbit owner wishing to interact with
and learn more about rabbits.
