Crystal 101

A little bit of fun about my thoughts (some crazy & some sarcastic, but all honest ;) about me and my life...

1. I'm Crystal, and I am a rabbit breeder.
2. My husband has remained married to me even with the years of countless talk of rabbits, rabbits, rabbits.
3. I think in a perfect rabbit world all rabbits should have lopped ears. 
4. I will never understand why Florida Whites will never come in other colors other than because of their name.
5. I don't understand how some rabbit breeders can raise rabbits that come in just one color.
6. All of my good friends are also rabbit breeders.
7. I sometimes even dream of rabbits.
8. I do have other interests.  I think.
9. I have a wonderful husband and three adorable children.
10. Because of them, I have developed a huge love for  scrapbooking!
11. I love taking pictures of rabbits also.
12. I  moved away from my family to attend college... I finished the first semester of the LPN program with flying colors :)
13. I am very proud of myself for making that decision at my "age", but unfortunately had to quit because of family illness :(
14. Being with my family is a more important place to be right now.
15. I learned a lot in those four months and not just in school.
16. The college said I can return when I am ready to come back. 
17. They are so generous to have a spot saved for me!
18. I really appreciate it.
19. I was considering selling all of my rabbits because of the schooling, but my hubby said he'd do my chores.
20.  Thank you hubby!
21. He told me he prefers having rabbits than when I had my Boer goats.  (Rabbits are easier to contain ;)
22. Vernon can pick out the best Mini Lop at a whole show without even touching it.  
23. I guess he does listen to me sometimes :)
24. I love my children dearly, and can't believe they grow so fast.
25. I try not to think that that means I'm getting older too.
26.  I wish I had the knowledge I have now back when I was younger and more impressionable.
27. I dream of doing my own mouse drawn graphics some day.
28. I decided since others started with that same dream, I am capable of doing it myself also.
29. With a lot of patience, practice and time, I will be as good as them and am thankful they inspired me.
30. I am a Taurus.
31. I am interested in all of the Zodiac signs just for fun.
32. I am very vocal, but get upset with myself for being passive at times.
33. Yes, I can be passive.
34. I can hold a grudge very well though.
35. I get annoyed very easily.
36. Ask my husband.
37. And my kids.
38. I like my brown eyes.
39. My weight is okay, but I wish I were taller.
40. Because of my love for volleyball.
41. I love playing a lot of sports and am quite athletic.
42. After 10 years of not playing Broomball, I won an M.V.P. award first season back.
43. That winter was the skinniest I have ever been.
44. I have always dreamed of playing volleyball when I would attend college, although those days are long gone :P
45. Would of loved to take adult Hip Hop classes too.
46. Wonder what my kids would have thought of that?
47. My hubby would think I've lost my marbles.
48. It would be great exercise I figure.  
49. I am smaller now after I had three (very large) babies than when I was in high school.
50. I almost died from mono.
51. I almost missed my high school graduation because of it.
52. I should say, THAT was the skinniest I ever was.
53. I  played badminton the day after I got out of the hospital & ended up winning the double girl's divisions, then got admitted back into the hospital the day after.
54. I had to get my dress taken in 4 sizes the day before my grad.
55. I wish now I would have had a different escort.
56. Not a big deal, much more important things in life.
57. I still like the dress I wore :P
58. When Vernon & I got married, there were over400 people at our wedding.
59. That's usual for one of Hafford's small town weddings.
60. More like "the whole town" wedding.
61. I almost considered getting McDonalds to cater.
62. Well, at least for me at the head table.
63. I'm sure my parents (and Vern) would have died. 
64. We had a Christmas wedding.  (I love the Christmas season.)
65. We had many decorated trees and candy cane party favors.
66. My fiancé, the farmer, convinced me that was the best time of the year to get married.
67. I wanted an autumn wedding.  No go, because that's harvest time.
68. See! I can be passive!
69. A few Christmases ago,  we bought a 7 1/2 foot pre-lit, revolving tree.
70. We strapped it on the top of mom's van on one of our shopping excursions.
71. I think hubby was embarrassed.
72. We often refer to ourselves as "The Griswalds".
73. I got my love of animals from my father.
74. So if we'd like to blame this rabbit fetish on someone, it would most likely be his fault ;)
75. My mom takes no credit in that department.
76. When I'm a nurse, I think she'd rather take some credit for that.
77. My mom is one of my best friends.
78. I hope Kendall and I will have that kind of relationship.
79. I have two older brothers.
80. We get along very well.
81. Our names all start with the letter "C" and all three names have seven letters.
82. I wonder if Mom really planned that?
83. Vernon & I attended a rabbit show when our youngest son Caden was just 6 days old.
84. Everybody thought we were crazy and still talk of that day.
85. Glad we went though, we won Reserve in Show with a broken black junior doe out of our first litter of Mini Rex!
86. Yes, I did have rabbits with straight ears at one time.
87. What was I thinking?!?
88. I love antiques.
89. My house is full of "old" stuff like crocks, egg crates and even a cream separator.
90. My hubby rolls his eyes when I drag in another old piece of furniture, then I remind him I could be asking for oak furniture instead.
91. Point taken!
92. I love painting.
93. I hate cooking.
94. Although, I still love to eat!
95. Chocolate, pizza & DAIRY QUEEN!
96. I am & have been a stay at home mom, and am very thankful for that.
97. I think my life is going perfectly and I wouldn't change anything.
98. I think people don't respect stay at home moms.
99. Ask Dr. Phil about that!
100. I spend way too much time on the computer.
